I would like to thank all those who voted over the last month to allow me to serve a third term on the Burlingame City Council. It is such a privilege and pleasure to be able to represent your interests and concerns in such a remarkable and quaint town for another four years.
I would also like to thank those who helped me throughout the campaign. Whether it was putting up a sign, writing a letter of support, walking precincts, sending out emails, sending out Dear Friend cards to potential supporters; everything helps toward a victory. The exceedingly narrow margin of votes for the last council member position reinforces how every vote counts and impacts our community.
The next four years should prove to be exciting and full of projects. I hope to see new faces and new ideas expressed. Mix that in with enthusiasm and increased involvement and you have a collaborative community.
It has been a pleasure serving the City of Burlingame the past eight years. I look forward to the next four years with the same energy, commitment and dedication.
